कर सल्लागार असोसिएशन रत्नागिरी जिल्हा , Also known as as "Tax Practitioner's Association of Ratnagiri District" (herein after ccalled as TPAoRD) is a District-level body of Tax Practitioners established in year 2017. The association has its membership spread all over the district of Ratnagiri comprising of Tax Practitioners, Chartered Accountant, Advocates, Cost Accountants, Company Secretaries, etc. practicing in Income Tax, GST, VAT, Service Tax and allied laws.

TPAoRD is governed by its own constitution and is registered with the charity commissioner and also under the societies act. The elected President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and 7 members of managing committee conduct the activities of the association.

Its main object is to educate the public in general and the members in on Direct and InDirect Taxes operative state of Maharashtra and whole of India.

The TPAoRD has produced stalwarts like Late N V Joshi, P J Vaidya, Shrikant Vaidya, H L Patwardhan, C U Halbe, Rasiklal Shah, Suhas Bartakke, Rajan Sansare, Vijay Dholye, Shashikant Kale, to name a few. The Association is marching ahead with full confidence under their guidance to achieve its objects and the young generation is taking over the leadership gradually from them and these stalwartsin turn have reposed their full confidence in the young leadership.

With the advent of GST, the Association has started spreading awareness and knowledge on GST and has taken a big leap into the goods and service tax arena for educating its members.

Apart from conducting activities of the association in a timely manner, Mr. Deodhar communicates and gives positive leadership to the association and ensures that all members have a fair hearing to express their views. Any new suggestions proposed by the members are tabled for discussion among members and President.

( TREASURER )

Organises and manages the arrangements at the meeting venue. He manages the meeting collections too. He then keeps the account of expenses of the meeting and encourages all members to participate in order to learn more about each other in a relaxed environment.

Objectives

  • Updating knowledge of members by conducting monthly study meet.

  • Started Discussion board through WhatsApp group.

  • Holding workshops, seminars/conferences (in Ratnagiri district.)

  • Conducting "Live Budget Meet" every year.

  • Conducting "Budget Analysis" workshop for general public every year in the memory of Late Adv N V Joshi.

  • Circulation of gazettes and trade circulars.

  • To hold meetings to educate the public on GST and other matters of public interest.

  • Make representations to appropriate authorities in the interests of trade,commerce,industry and members of association.

  • To keep continuing the interaction and co-operation with other professional bodies for holding seminars and cultural/sports activities.

  • Motivating members to follow professional ethics.

Dear Members,
I am grateful and humbled to stand before you as the newly elected President of the Tax Practitioners Association of Ratnagiri District. It's an honor to have been chosen for this role,and I want to extend my thanks to each one of you for the opportunity to serve our esteemed members.

heartfelt acknowledgment goes to our outgoing presidents, CA Mandar Gadgil and Adv Abhijit Berde for their commendable leadership. We are fortunate to have them continue as a committee member, contributing their valuable experience to our association.

Taking stock of our past achievements, we have set new goals and priorities for the coming year. The managing committee, is geared up to implement these plans. We've formed new groups and committees, each with specific missions, and I appreciate the commitment shown by our members to support these initiatives.

Excitement is in the air as we bring forward fresh ideas and experiments to improve our association. We're all set to introduce new activities and programs that aim to enhance our collective learning experience.
